ELAC

ELAC stands for English Language Advisory Committees.

These committees, one for each school, meet regularly during the year to review and monitor programs for our English Language Learners. Among the responsibilities are:

to assist in developing school plans for English Learners
to conduct an annual needs assessment
to prepare an annual language census report
to advise the District regarding redesignation procedures

Meetings are open to anyone interested. Times are posted in Cheetah Chatter.
