Welcome!

     For the second time in 6 years Lu Sutton Elementary earned the honor of being designated as a California Distinguished School.  We are a neighborhood school located on 10 beautiful acres in the heart of downtown Novato.The school was built in 1959 and has a current enrollment of approximately 352 students.  We are grateful to have a supportive, involved community of parents who have partnered with us to truly make a difference in the lives of our students.

     The Lu Sutton staff is dedicated to educate all students to become life-long learners who are independent, responsible and productive citizens in our diverse society.

Join us every Wednesday for Community Time in the Multi-Purpose room.

Joyful 12 School Project

From March 1st to March 31st, 2015, please join The Joyful 12 School Project for a one-month Eat Green Cooking Challenge to help improve the health of our parents, teachers and students. Each week, we will take the challenge together—kids, teachers, staff, and parents—to learn about and cook one new seasonal vegetable. It’s so simple and your kids will love cooking with you!

Reading and Recess

 Week at Lu Sutton

March 23 - 27

During Reading and Recess Week, adults who are special to Lu Sutton students are invited to join us for some classroom learning and then stay to enjoy recess
and a meal.
